• 3+ years HVAC install experience is required.
• Must be proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation.
• Must understand refrigerant and refrigerant cycles, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Must pass a Background check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
• Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends required.
• Must possess good work ethics, must be reliable and have good customer service skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a qualified HVAC Technician to assist our growing company. This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. Only qualified applicants will be considered.

• Maintenance of HVAC equipment for residential/commercial clients - filter changes, tune ups, etc.
• Work with Air Conditioners (all types including heat pumps and multiple stage).
• Work with Rooftop units and unit heaters. Other HVAC equipment.
• Trouble-shooting & Repair of Residential systems.
• Recognize "potential-break-down issues" and make appropriate recommendations.
• Be comfortable and professional when speaking with customers.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Perform duties such as: Cleaning, adjusting, repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and local codes.
• Ability to use power tools and ladders of all types.
• Responsible for maintaining truck inventory and keeping truck neat.
• Alternating on-call schedule.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months HVAC experience.
• Customer Service experience.
• Must be able to pass background & drug screening and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team environment & team player.
• Good attitude and ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow processes with attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• Ability to commute to Gurnee office location on a daily basis with reliable transportation.
• EPA Certification.
• NATE Certified is a huge plus.
